Safety for Kids at the Samui Villa

The pool has wide steps and a long ledge to create a paddling pool depth for toddlers and a deeper end for older kids. There is no pool fence to separate the pool. However
safety turtle pool alarms are available on request and the poolside sala is also ideally located for mum or dad to sit and chill whilst keeping an eye on the pool. There is a poolside changing block with a toilet, shower and changing room so children and adults alike can change in and out of wet clothes during the day or deal with "accidents" close by.

Children's Samui Villa Accommodation

For infants, Bedroom One has a large dressing room that can easily accommodate a baby cot, and a cot can also fit (but more snugly) into the dressing areas in Bedrooms Two and Three. For the older children, though, the show-stopper is the playroom and dormitory in the lodge house.

An Aladdin’s cave with a bank of bunk beds that sleep 6 and two further pull-out beds allowing eight children to hang out together in the luxury Samui villa rental. The room is a blaze of bright colours and large bean bags. There is a built in music system for bed-time story discs and plenty of toys to keep them entertained.

Directly next to the dorm is a twin bedroom, with TV and DVD, where nannies or helpers can stay and be close to the children. For added peace of mind, there is a curtain of CCTV and security beams that can be switched on to cover the outside area, and motion-activated lights in the dark so children feel safe if they step outside.

The TV room is in the same block (convenient both for baby-sitters and for the children) as is the fitness room, with the magnetic lure of a table tennis table.

Children are naturally attracted to the seashore. They’ll enjoy the excitement of finding beautiful shells and interesting coral "treasures" on the native beach, and the sheer pleasure of an evening walk along the waterfront for a sundowner and a dip in the pool at one of the resorts, or through to the magical night time wonderland of Chaweng beach.

Remember to bring waterproof booties so they can clamber on the rocks at the end of the cove to look at the fishermen's catches, or paddle out to snorkel and admire the soft corals and colourful reef fish in the shallow waters off the beach opposite your Samui villa entrance.

Older children can enjoy playing with the bikes, rip sticks and other toys around the upper courtyard.

And, when the sun goes down, there’s the sheer magic of the outdoor cinema. Complete silence, except for the crunch of popcorn, as little eyes are glued in wonder to the huge starlit screen.
